Marlene Adams

Oakie and Gin married when I was 3 years old. They moved to CA in 1950 when I was 4. I didn't spend much time in their presence, but I knew they were a very important part of our family. My mother would get a long letter (8-10 pages) from Gin updating her on what was going on in their family. Mom poured over every word and took it all in; you see there was no telphone available on Little Fox Creek in those days. I thank God for Gin and the happiness she brought my mother, and no doubt, my brother. He always called her "Ginnie". I have spent very little time with all the family, but I love you dearly.
