It is hard to know where to begin because there are so many wonderful memories of visiting with Mamaw Nell. Nell was a woman of great faith and never lost sight of that and was thankful for every moment she had on this earth and for all the ones that loved her. We all feel such a loss but it helps to know that there is no more discomfort and Nell is with the lord and rejoicing with all the ones that had to leave before her. She looked forward to that. Nell will always be loved and missed by all. I will miss our talks.
Mamaw Nell,you were such a loving women to all. Never had a bad word to say about any one, saw good in everyone. You loved the Lord, was a true Christian, God has another angel. Please give mom a kiss for me. You also made the BEST oatmeal cookies for us, that was a treat. When I think of you I think of you in the kitchen cooking hamburgers for all. A towel across your shoulder while aunts and uncles play Rook. All of us kids just would run around the house and fall out where ever. Great times, I will never forget you, Love you.
Nell was a Mother to every child that came through her doors and there were many of them. Just as her Mother did before her, she took care of the family and family always came first. My earliest memories are of Charlie, Nell, Mommy and Daddy Deel all on the porch on summer evenings, stringing beans from the garden, while a half dozen kids ran around in the yard, myself included. My vision now is that they're all happily back together again. Sending my blessings to all her family.
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul;
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou
anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Rest in peace Mamaw
I Love you,
Junior
