Thanks to all who shared their memories of the impact Rhonda had on their lives. Reading these tributes from my sister’s former students, classmates, and friends makes my heart burst with pride. She loved life and lived it to the fullest, even when her body began to fail her. She never stopped being the cheerleader, the teacher, the mentor. She missed her students after she retired.
As a sister, Rhonda was the same person she was on the job, in the home and everywhere else. She was loving, giving, honest, tough, encouraging, hilarious, challenging, inspiring, festive, and faithful. To say she had a big impact on my life would be an understatement. She was the perfect big sister, and loved my kids as her own. We can’t overstate what an enormous loss this is for our family, especially for the love of her life - Larry. We are grateful for your prayers, and ask God’s blessings to be upon you as you have blessed us with these tributes.
