Condolence: Though I never knew Ernie, his very kind voice always seemed to me like he was a good friend, or neighbor to me! I loved his singing, and I'm glad he's rejoicing with the angels and now is singing around God's throne!

Condolence: Asking God to give each family member, comfort, peace and strength during this difficult time. Ernie was a true gentleman who loved God, his family and friends. He will be remembered as a guy who loved bluegrass music and it showed each time he stepped on the stage to play. I remember Ernie when he sang lead for the late Dr. Ralph Stanley. He has graced the stage with many well known bluegrass people and bands. He did an awesome job when he sang our National Anthem at the opening of a NASCAR race. Rest assured that Ernie has received his complete healing and is resting in the arms of Jesus. The heavens choir received a new member the day Ernie past. He is singing with his mom, dad, family and friends. I'm sure Dr. Ralph Stanley was there as well as others to welcome Ernie home. Rest assured if you know Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour that you will see him again and what a Great Reunion Day that will be. God's blessings to each and everyone. Sincerely, Betty Poole
