Obituary for Sandra Mae Edwards (Austin)

Sandra Mae  Edwards (Austin)
Clincho, VA- Sandra Mae Austin Edwards, age 65 of Maple Drive, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Clintwood, VA. Born in Russell County, she was a daughter of the late Omega T. and Pauline Painter Austin. She was a homemaker and retired Dickenson County bus driver. She attended Dante Assembly of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Nathan Edwards, a brother, Eugene Austin and a sister, Joyce Austin.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Lee Edwards, three sons, Ernie (Tanya) Boggs of Haysi, Jerry Daniel Boggs of Keokee and Randy Clay (Kim) Boggs of Clintwood and a daughter, Pamela Sue (Alfred) Yates of Haysi, grandchildren, Amanda, Hannah, Russell, Sarah, Zander, Whitney and Maddox, great-granddaughter, Payton, special nieces, Eugenia and Courtney, a brother, Jerry Austin of Roanoke and special friend, Lucy Stanley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2016 at Haysi Funeral Home with Jerry Estep and Ernie Addington. Burial will follow in Lewis Edwards Cemetery, Clinchco, VA. Pallbearers will be Monte Mullins, Scott Tickle, Joe Stanley, Ernie, Jerry and Randy Boggs. The family will receive after 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, at the funeral home with an evening service at 7:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com Haysi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
