Ada Ramey
Clinchco, VA – Ada Ramey, age 57 went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, June 27, 2014. She was a daughter of Joyce Owens Perrigan and the late Estle Perrigan. She was a graduate of Haysi High School, a homemaker, a former member of Haysi Rescue Squad, and was of the Freewill Baptist faith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a nephew, “Little” Shawn Mullins.
In addition to her mother, survivors include three daughters, Sarah Ramey of Clintwood, Pam Ramey and Kim Ramey of Haysi, three sisters, Ida Wallace of Hawaii, Judy Mullins of Clintwood and Debbie Perrigan of Clinchco, two brothers, Wayne Perrigan of Grundy and Ronnie Perrigan of New Jersey, one granddaughter that she loved and treasured dearly, Nina Slemp, a nephew, Chris Wallace, nieces, Sabrina Stiltner, Melissa Perrigan, Tammy Hale, Madison Wallace, and Chelsea Mullins, and she leaves behind a host of friends who knew her gentle soul and she will be forever missed.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Haysi Funeral Home with Palmer Leftwich officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2 in the Edwards Cemetery, Clinchco, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
