TRULA COLEMAN
Haysi, VA- Trula Coleman, age 86 of Greenbrier Road, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Ky. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Patton and Sarah C. Deel. She was a homemaker and member of Russell Prater Old Regular Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Coleman, three brothers, Virgil, Emory and Buddy Deel Jr. and two sisters, Eva and Effie Deel.
Survivors include a daughter, Lorie Daphene (Danny) Stacy of Haysi, a brother, Burnual (Philadene) Deel of Haysi, two grandchildren, Franklin Ray (Elizabeth) McCormick and Dwayne McCormick, a great-grandchild, Riley Ray McCormick, a special nephew, Allen Deel, a foster brother, Dock (Evalou) Owens of Haysi, a special friend, Larry Farmer and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Russell Prater Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders Roger Coleman, Mark Justice, Earl Dean Yates, Aven Viers and Lloyd “Popeye” Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Patton Deel Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
