WILLIE “BENFORD” WOODS
Clinchco, VA- Willie “Benford” Woods, age 59 of Mill Street passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. He was a son of the late Leslie and Stella Barton Woods. He was last employed by Clinchfield Coal Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Barton, Draxie Woods, Gay Hall, Zelphia Edwards and brothers, Billy and Boncil Woods and two infant sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Woods, a daughter, Melissa (Todd) Davis of Lebanon, a son Timothy (Donnetta Church) Woods of Clinchco, grandchildren, Bradley Rasnake, Elianna Davis, Cody Woods, Ashton Woods and Jetta Woods, a sister, Gail Hall of Haysi and Ann Deel of MI, a brother, Bobby Woods of Clinchco and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2013 at Haysi Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Barton Cemetery, Clinchco, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
