Obituary for Betty Jo Lewis

Richmond, VA – Betty Jo Lewis, age 75, formerly of Dickenson County passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 at Johnston Willis Hospital in Richmond, VA. Born in Clintwood, VA, she was a daughter of the late Orville and Wanda Yates Frazier. She was last a restaurant owner and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Frazier and a sister, Katie Snellings.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Nell Rose of Clintwood, VA and Letta Jo Hall of Richmond, VA; three granddaughters, Kimberly Sharon (Scott) Stanley and Krista Joy (Travis) Powers both of Clintwood, VA and Maggie Shalene (Jason) Deel of Richmond, VA; three great grandsons, Preston Scott Stanley, Carson Travis Layne Powers and Ryder Jaye Stanley; three great granddaughters, Abigail Leah Stanley, Lindsay Allison Powers and Summer Grace Powers; three sisters, Marnella Parker of Michigan, Martha Marie York and Barbara Ann Mullins both of Richmond, VA and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 in the Dave Yates Cemetery, Clintwood, VA with Carvel Edwards officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
