EDITH O’QUIN
Haysi, VA- Edith Evalee O’Quin, age 86 of Gardenia Way, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Clintwood, VA. Born in Dickenson County, she was a daughter of the late Barney and Vicey Jane Deel O’Quin. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Walter, Troy, Dewey and Roy and a sister, Ida Margaret Deel.
Survivors include a brother, Franklin (Georgia) O’Quin of Bee, several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Clintwood Nursing Home and Staff and to the PACE Program.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders Garnell Gilbert and Jim Duty officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 15, at Duty Cemetery, Bee, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
