Obituary for Juanita Murphy
HAYSI - Juanita Murphy, age 82 of Splashdam Road passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. Born in Buchanan County, Virginia she was a daughter of the late Wallace Edward and Jane Deel. She attended Splashdam Freewill Baptist Church and was last employed at the Pizza Factory in Haysi for several years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Murphy and siblings Marlo Deel, Lawson Deel, Marie Fuller, Jerry Fuller and Clara Keene.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen (Wade Younce) Murphy, Haysi, VA, granddaughter, Jama (Kennieth) Church, Haysi, VA and siblings, Glema Mullins, Bristol, Virginia, Martha Keene, Davenport, VA and Irene Fuller, Clintwood, VA. Several nieces and nephews and special niece and nephew, Lisa O'Connor and Steve Murphy.
It was Juanita’s wishes that no service be held.
