Obituary for Etta Mae Fuller (Owens)
Etta Mae Owens Fuller, age 90 of Damascus, VA, formally of Morton, WA died peacefully at the Abingdon Health and Rehab Center on December 4, 2022 following an extended illness.
Born in Haysi, VA she was the daughter of the late W.B. “Bill” and Madge Bartley Owens. She was a long-time member of the Dickenson First Presbyterian Church in Haysi.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reual Harvey Fuller, daughter, Vikki Lynn Fuller, two sisters, Pauline Owens, Lorraine Dales, three brothers, Donald K. Owens, John Owens and Clyde Owens.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Bryan Fuller and Richard Allen Fuller of Abingdon, VA, grandson Bryan Zam Fuller of Lacy, WA and one sister, Mary Lee “Jerry” Sutherland, Abingdon, VA, and her loving tabby cat, Heidi.
A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Owens Family Cemetery in Haysi with John Whitner officiating.
