BIRCHLEAF-Stacy Carl Hay, age 57 of Frying Pan Road passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022. Born in Lower Bucks, PA he was the son of Carl Hay and the late Dorothy Kennedy Hay. He was of the Baptist faith and last employed as a mason. In addition to his mother, he was preceded by a niece, Stephanie Goodrich.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Darlene Hay, daughter, Kacee Dawn (Josh) Rasnick, Haysi, VA, son, Joshua Stacy (Marsha) Hay, Lebanon, VA, six grandchildren, Alexandra Hope, William Grayson, Jesse Scott, Camdalynn Rain, Ezra Alexander, Brooklynn Danielle, his father, Carl Hay, two brothers, Shannon Loyal Hay and Morgan Daniel Hay both of Haysi, VA, two sisters, Darlene (Bruce) Goodrich, Hickory, NC, Sara Dawn (Trevor) Young, mother and father in law, Dannie and Sherrel O’quinn, sister and brother in law, Melinda and Rick Edwards, nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Savannah, Sheldon and Ian.
Graveside services will be conducted, at the O’quinn Cemetery, Steve’s Branch, Bee, VA on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Wayne Owens officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
