HAYSI- Sonja Lee Mullins, age 71 of Madison Road passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. Born in Detroit, MI she was the daughter of the late Jack and Kathaleen Wright Mullins. She was last employed as a clerk for K-Mart.
Survivors include three sisters, Renee (Frank) Presley, Jackie (George) Napier, Terry (Bob) McKenzie and one brother, Greg (Sharon) Mullins. Six nieces, Kristy (Aaron) Humphrey, Andrea (Corey) Vyse, Jessica (Derek) Casbar, Breanna Presley, Destiny Presley, Adalyn Presley, five nephews, Scott (Sherry) Presley, Bryan (Amber) Mullins, Jeff Mullins, Jackson Presley, and Daniel Presley. Great nieces and nephews, Owen, Olivia, Makayla, Brayden, Jaxon, Gavin, Colton, Kaiden, Gatlin, JJ, Scott Jr., Ethan, Joe, Katie, Lee Lee, Rhianna, Carrie, Noah, Tristan and Kenzie also survive.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Haysi Funeral Home with Tommy Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Mullins Cemetery, Haysi, Virginia. Nephews, Bryan Mullins, Jeff Mullins, Jackson Presley and Daniel Presley will serve as pallbearers.
