Lebanon, VA – Timothy Dean Salyers, age 72 of Mansion Drive passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, TN. Born in Dickenson County, he was a son of the late Trimble and Ponzell Anderson Salyers. He was a member of Hill Ridge Freewill Baptist Church and last employed at Southwest Virginia Community College as a career coach and advisor. Tim acquired an Associates Degree in Education and Masters Degree in Special Education and Counseling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Salyers.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Ann Salyers; daughters, Holly Fuller, Angie (Scott) Childress, Crystal (Brad) Moore and Samantha Holmes; a son, John (Sarah) Salyers; grandchildren, Nicholas, Gracie, Isaac, Elijah, Hannah, Autumn, Parker, Amina, Bailee, Hayden and Paisley; a brother, Ronnie (Alma) Salyers; father and mother-in-law, Perry and Audrey Ramey; sisters-in-law, Linda (Preston) Sumner and Rita (Rocky) Oquinn; brothers-in-law, Dennis Barton and Darrell (Becky) Barton
Funeral service will conducted 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Haysi Funeral Home with Keith Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in the Salyers Cemetery, Clinchco, VA.
