MICHIGAN - Lena Nell Paquette, age 92 of Rochester, passed away May 10, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Delmon and Julia Anderson Edwards. She was of the Catholic faith and was last employed as a real estate agent. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill, Buford, Bruce and Danie Edwards and her sister Gay Anderson.
Survivors include her children, Corliss (the late Michael) Eden, Christopher (Margaret) Colley, Janet (William L.) Ziecina, Renee (Fred) Kushnir, Michael (Joyce) Paquette and Roderick (Tina) Paquette and thirteen grandchildren, Cathy (Dennis), Teresa, Julie (Dan), Connie (Dale), John (Misty), Sandra (Ray), Jennifer (Ken), William G. (Amanda), Sarah, Beth (Patrick), Danielle, Michelle (Zach) and Amber. Twenty-five great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, one sister, Theta (Larry) Childress, and two brothers, Mack (Barbara) Edwards and Larry (Dayne) Edwards also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elder Noah Kim Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Family Cemetery, Edwards Ridge, Birchleaf, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. prior to funeral services.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in her name.
