DAVENPORT, VA – Hattie Faye Bostic, age 86 of Elijah & Susie Road passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Commonwealth Senior Living in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Born in Buchanan County she was the daughter of the late Howard and America Thomas Stevens. She was a homemaker and a member of Bee Pentecostal Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dillard Howard, second husband, Kyle Bostic, a brother Danny Stevens and sisters, Lear Kiser and Geneva Powers.
Survivors include her children, Anita (Jonas) Bostic, Vansant, VA, Marty (Paige) Bostic, Vansant, VA, Jerry (Garnie) Howard, Vansant, VA, Regina (Steve) Boyd, Vansant, VA, Morgan Howard, of North Carolina, and Rebecca (Matthew Coleman, fiancé) Bostic, Vansant, VA. Nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2022 at Haysi Funeral Home with Roy Lee Wilson officiating. Visitation at 6:00 p.m. on Monday prior to the funeral.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Stevens-Oquinn Cemetery, Little Fox Creek, Vansant, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
