Obituary for Peggy Coleman (Coleman)
Haysi, VA – Peggy Coleman, age 59 of Old Post Office Road, Clinchco, VA passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Ezra and Ida Mae Deel Coleman. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Little David Old Regular Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Tivis and Samantha Deel and paternal grandparents, Oliver and Mindy Coleman, sisters Patty Coleman and Terry Coleman O’Quinn.
Survivors include her son Jeffery Coleman of Clintwood, VA, one brother, Hoppy (Margie) Coleman and a sister Tammy Beavers of Clintwood, VA. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Haysi Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Elders Danny Yates, Jerry Newsome, Eddie Newsome, and David O’Quinn officiating.
The family will have a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Tivis Deel Cemetery, Vansant, VA.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family at Haysi Funeral Home.
