WILLIE LEE O’QUIN
HAYSI, VA – Willie Lee O’Quin, age 70 of Greenbrier Road, Haysi, VA passed away February 27, 2021 at Buchanan General Hospital in Grundy, VA.
Born in Virginia he was the son of George Marion and Phoebe Jane (Deel) O’Quin. He was a member of Pilgrim Home Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Linda Deel O’Quin, five brothers D. Ferel, Arvin Ray, Ernie, Joe Gerald, Jass and two sisters Faye and Bertha O’Quin.
In addition to his daughter of the home Linda (Donald) Coleman and grandson Dylan Boyd, he is also survived by daughter Angela Parker, sons Jason Lee, Anthony Allen, Willie Franklin and Timothy Lee O’Quin, two sisters Elvia Blankenship and Susie (Lester) Yates, one brother Jimmy Oquin and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Russell Prater Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders Denny Deel, and Terry O’quin officiating. Burial will follow in the Deel Cemetery, Sunset Hollow, Vansant, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Haysi Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
