EARL LEE SCANLON
Haysi, VA- Earl Lee Scanlon, age 93 of Lazarus Branch, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at his home. Born in Charlottesville, he was a son of the late Harry Scanlon and Vina Scanlon Harrison. He was last employed as a truck driver for Raines Oil Company and was a WWII veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Glenna Sue Colley Scanlon, daughters, Sharon (Bill) McKenna of St. Peters, FL and Nedra (Troy) Britton of Marion, a son, Walter Lee (Chasity) Scanlon of Haysi, grandchildren, Brianna Scanlon, Kolter Scanlon, Nicholas Hall, Michael (Lauren) Mashburn and Tanner Dotson.
Buchanan County VFW will conduct Military graveside rites at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Rebecca Willis Cemetery, Haysi, VA with Mark Colley and Justin Kiser officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 11:30-12:30 with graveside services to follow at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Rebecca Willis Church and Cemetery fund, 1219 Lazarus Branch Haysi, VA 24256
