NAOMI VIERS
Haysi, VA- Naomi Viers, age 86, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Heritage Hall in Clintwood, VA. Born in Pikeville, TN, she was a daughter of the late James and Ora Brewer Evans. She last worked in a furniture store and was a member of Sandlick Primitive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James and Clayton Evans and a sister, Francis Romans.
Survivors include her husband, James Hank Viers, three brothers, Frank A. (Nancy) Evans of Soddy Daisy, TN, Robert (Arlene) Evans of Spencer, TN, Jerry (Diane) Evans of Oklahoma City, two sisters, Alice (Harold) Deweese and Deborah (Dallas) Roberson both of Pikeville, TN and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Viers Cemetery, Backbone Ridge Road, Clinchco, VA with Elder Jim Duty officiating.
