LOIS HELEN EDWARDS
Clintwood, VA- Lois Helen Edwards, age 81, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Marie Wilson Tiller. She was a homemaker and member of Sandlick Primitive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion E. “Junior” Edwards, step-daughter, Jeanette Cummings, one sister and 2 brothers.
Survivors include a son, Leroy Edwards (Carolyn) Edwards of Clintwood, daughters, Trish (Keith) Owens of Bee and Helen (George) Kendrick of Blountville, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 8 step great-great grandchildren, two brothers, Raymond Tiller of Abingdon and Ronald Tiller of Maxie, VA.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2020 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elder Noah Kim Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Monday prior to funeral services. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens, Abingdon, VA with Elder Josh Viers officiating. Pallbearers will be Dennis Edwards, Cody Edwards, Henry Lester, Mike Charles, Barry Dye, Tanner Baker and Jon Marshall.
