SHAWN PRESTON O’QUINN
Haysi, VA- Shawn Preston O’quinn, age 41, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 at his home. Born in Tazewell County, he was a son of Roxie O’quinn and the late Floyd O’quinn. He was a 1997 Grundy High School graduate, was last employed in the oil field and was of the Church of Christ faith. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Dorothy O’quin and Malikiah and Minty Jane O’quinn.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karen, a brother, Greg (Rita) O’quinn of Haysi and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Haysi Funeral Home with Mickey Tiller officiating. Burial will follow in O’quinn-Deel Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Deel, Jeremy and Dillon O’quinn and Casey and Tyler Boyd.
