Bee, VA- Linda Sue Deel, age 76, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 at her home. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Abygail Presley Hess. She was a homemaker and member of Duty View Primitive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Deel, a daughter, Sheryl Bailey, infant sister, Emoline Hess, brothers, Elmer and Gene Hess.
Survivors include a son, Kevin (Kathy) Deel of Bee, grandchildren, Brandon (Brittney) Deel of Haysi, Kaillen (Jalen Sykes) Deel of Richmond and Jamie (Kimberly) Bailey of Lebanon, great-grandson, Brantley Jase Deel, sisters, Pauline Arrington of Bee, Ola Gay Breeding of Honaker, Inell Turner of Vansant, Euyvonne Keen of OH, special niece, Rita Kay Rasnake of Bee and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2020 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders, Don Stacy and Jim Duty officiating. Burial will follow in Ketron Memorial Cemetery, Lebanon, VA. Pallbearers will be Tim and Terry Arrington, Rex and Randall Turner, Tommy Gilbert and Neil Rasnake. Honorary pallbearers will be Joley and Adrian Rasnake, Rodney Ray, Brock Gloekner and Robin Turner. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Elders Barrett McGlothlin, Garnell Gilbert and Noah Kim Edwards officiating.
