Vansant, VA – Gracie Caldonia Deel, age 62, passed away at her home Friday, July 17, 2020. Born in Dickenson County, she was a daughter of the late Rufus and Anglean Stanley Mullins. She was a home health aide and of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Dean Deel; daughters, Angel (Anthony) Lester of Vansant, VA, Hope (Cody) Owens of Council, VA, Liz (Chad) Cox and Hannah (Justin) Cox both of Tazewell, VA; sons, Brandon (Beth) Deel of Vansant, VA and Charlie Deel of the home; grandchildren, Dakota Deel, Sam (Devon) Deel, Faith Deel, Cainen Owens, Aaliyah Cox, Violette Cox, Harley Cox and one on the way; great grandchildren, Daniel Deel, Benjamin Deel and Jesse Deel; sisters, Agnes (Lonnie) Fuller, Vansant, VA, Lockie (Robert) Anderson of Saltville, VA, Chessie (Nevada) Mullins and Candy Hall both of Haysi, VA and a brother, David (Judy) Mullins of Haysi, VA.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2020 at Haysi Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the Deel Cemetery, Vansant, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
