Some memories of Grace. I was sitting at her bedside a few nights ago when she could still talk, she said I was laying here thinking about when we were little. She said it's a wonder we didn't get eat up by a copperhead, running round and playing after dark. We played cowboys and Indians in daddy s barn .We had beauty contests, Lockey would judge who was prettiest me or Grace. We were together constantly when we were growing up.
She stayed at my house or I stayed at hers. Life was hard for us we didn't have much , but those were happy times. We shared everything. I remember we had a tube of mascara that we passed back and forth and a pair of hip hugger jeans. We went to church and tent revivals , rode in the back of moms truck and sang to the top of our lungs. My prescious sweet cousin is sitting at the feet of Jesus singing a new song now, and I will see her again someday.
