Clintwood, VA – Robert Earl Stiltner, age 81 of Newberry Ridge passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tennessee. Born in Buchanan County he was a son of the late George and Opal Owens Stiltner. He was an Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, a retired mine inspector and a member of Coleman’s United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Stiltner, and a sister, Loraine Boggs.
Survivors include a son, Randy (Sherry) Stiltner of Villa Rica, GA; a daughter, Regina Edwards of Clintwood, VA; grandchildren, Jason Stiltner, Joseph Stiltner and Megan Collins; siblings, Leo Stiltner, Rex Stiltner, Jerry Stiltner, Sandy Stiltner, Mark Stiltner, Joe Roy Stiltner, Carol Johnson, Alma Ruth Marshall, Mary Lou Townsend, Barbara Wrum, George Louis Stiltner and Michael Stiltner and a host of in laws, friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2020 at Haysi Funeral Home with Darrell Thacker officiating. Burial will follow in the Blankenship Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted.Pallbearers will be Andre Deel, Logan Deel, Denny Deel, Michael Yates, Roby Deel and Harold “Buzzard” O’Quinn.
