Beulah “Sis” Agnes Viers
Birchleaf, VA – Beulah “Sis” Agnes Viers, age 95, of Rakes Ridge Road passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019. Born in Dickenson County, she was a daughter of the late Tolby and Margaret Vandyke Byers. She was a member of Sandlick Presbyterian Church, was an avid gardener and loved sewing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Cleveland A. Viers, brothers, Ralph Byers and Harold Byers and son-in-law, Frank Haviland.
Survivors include her children, Steve (Miracle) Viers of Clinchco, Mickey (Grethel) Viers of Richlands, VA and Gail Haviland of Georgia; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Sandlick Presbyterian Church with Pastor David Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery, Birchleaf, VA. Grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. prior to funeral service.
