Clintwood, VA – Billy Joe Turner, age 82, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Clintwood. Born in Dickenson County, he was a son of the late Joseph Lee and Delloria Edwards Turner. He was a member of Tivis Chapel Old Regular Baptist Church.
Survivors include his brother, Jack (Joyce) Turner of Wise, VA, niece, Michele (Michael) Gamble of Dryden, VA, and a great nephew, Isaac Gamble.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders Gordon Deel and Rick Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the F.L. Colley Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, prior to the funeral service.
