VIRGINIA IRENE FULLER
Bee, VA- Virginia Irene Fuller, age 74, of Priest Fork, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. Born in Harman, VA, she was a daughter of the late William Arvil and Eva Braxie Compton Sykes. She was a 1963 Haysi High School graduate and was employed by Appalachian Agency as the site manager at Clinchco Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Janetta Weaver, Ron Sykes, Hulan Compton, Nell Cook and Darlene Amundson.
Survivors include two daughters, Eva “Dee” (Brad) Childress of Birchleaf and Traci (Richard) Lee of Grundy, a son, Mark (Janell) Fuller of New Haven, IN, grandchildren, Ginny Swiney, Jessa Branham, Billy Green, Matt Lee, Josh Lee, Blake Fuller and Brock Fuller, great-grandchildren, Olivia Swiney, Dylan Swiney, Sophia Lee, Easton Lee, Raylen Lee and Wyatt Lee, sisters, Jerline (Ray) Lopez of Abingdon and Peggy (Bob) Mullins of Bee, a brother, Terry Sykes of Bristol, ex-husband and father of children, Danny Fuller of Cutler, OH and a sister-in-law, Faye Sykes of Birchleaf.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Sandlick Presbyterian Church, 159 Olney Lavada Road, Birchleaf, VA, with Pastor Cummings officiating.
