Birchleaf, VA- Goldie Faye Harvey, age 80, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Clintwood, VA. Born in Dickenson County, she was a daughter of the late Gallie and Agnes Fleming Green. She was last employed as a cook and attended Bee Pentecostal Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 2nd husband, David Harvey, children, Robert Hill, Kenneth Hill, Leonard Hill, a brother, Paul Green and sisters, Lola Jean Tiller and Irene Stanley.
Survivors include two daughters, Renida and husband, Ike Bowman of Bee and Tammy and husband, Larry Boyd of Abingdon, grandchildren, Melanie (Johnny) Rosenbaum, Brian Ike Bowman, Byron Ike Bowman, Ashley (Scott) Hale, Brittany L. Reynolds, Cayla (Tyler) Blankenship, Shawna Hill and Bobby Hill, great-grandchildren, Preston, Kathern, Breanna, Cameron, Rachel, Kierra, Taegyn and Camrynn, sisters and brothers, Bud and Sharlene Green, Junior and Susie Green, Mack and Della Green, Jimmy and Kimberly Green, Cecil Wayne Green, Eliz (Larry) Bowman, Nancy (Joe) Keys, Sharon (David) Scott, Lucille (Earl) Dotson, Stella Smith and JoAnn (Sam) Sullivan, special aunt, Mille Estep, ex-husband and friend, Bobby Joe Hill and special friends, Kathy Hayes, Jeanette Colley, Tennessee Kendrick and Cindy Wolfe.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Haysi Funeral Home with Bud Greene officiating. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to funeral services. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday at the J.C. Fleming Cemetery, Clintwood, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
