Anna Lee Wallace Bartley
Haysi, VA – God called Anna Lee Wallace Bartley, age 86, home on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was the daughter of the late Steve and Tessie Mae Dutton Wallace. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Carrol Bartley, one son, Johnny Mack Bartley, one daughter, Evelyn Marie Bartley, two brothers, Steve Wallace, Jr. and George Edward Wallace, and one great-granddaughter, Chasity Hope Edwards.
Survivors include three sons, Roger (Pam) Bartley of Richmond, KY, Ron (Rita) Bartley of North Myrtle Beach, SC, and Don (Linda) Bartley of Asheboro, NC, one brother, Kermit (Beverly) Wallace of Lake City, FL, one sister, Paula (Jim) Willis of Winston-Salem, NC, five grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, nine great-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandson. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to a hospice or a favorite charity.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Splashdam Freewill Baptist Church with Don Bartley, Rev. George Michael Wallace, and Rev. John Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Bartley-Wallace Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Splashdam Freewill Baptist Church. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
