Haysi, VA- Tyler Ray Smith Deel, age 21 of Big Ridge Road, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019. Born in Norton, VA, he was a 2016 Ridgeview High School graduate and was certified in welding.
Survivors include his grandmother, Violet Enola Deel of Haysi, father, Wayne (Lurle) Smith of OH, mother, Patricia (John) Criswell of Haysi, siblings, Wayne G. Smith Deel, Kelly Ann Smith Deel, Carson Smith, Felicity Smith and Justice Smith and a host of friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2019 at Haysi Funeral Home with Mike Stidham officiating. Burial will follow in Mullins Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 9:00 a.m. on Friday prior to funeral service.
