Birchleaf, VA- Linda Sue Justice, age 65, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her home. Born in Dickenson County, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Edna Deel Gilbert. She was a Council High School graduate, was last employed as a cosmetologist and was of the Old Regular Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Danny, Dexter, Sammy and Melvin Gilbert and a sister, Juanita Rasnick, nephews, Kevin Gilbert and Randy Rasnake, and a niece, Teresa Barton.
Survivors include her husband, Clayton Justice, a daughter, Alesha (Josh) Moore and a son, Russell Justice, grandchildren, Caleb Moore, Isaiah Justice and Lylah Justice, a brother, Carl (Linda) Gilbert, three sisters, Jerolene Howard, Mary Lou (Jim) Duty and Beatrice Winters, a sister-in-law, Janie Gilbert and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Monday, April 16, 2018 at Mountain View Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders Mark Justice, Terry O’quinn, Roger Coleman and Andy Deel officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Birchleaf, VA. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, family and friends, Josh Moore and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be T.L. Justice, Andy Deel, Dr. Roy Deel, Terry O’quinn and Roger Coleman.
