MICKIE LYNN HALE

Wise, VA- Mickie Lynn Hale, age 58, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Indian Path Hospital in Kingsport, TN. Born in Tazewell County, she was a daughter of the late Ephraim O’quinn and Nellie Ruth Thacker O’quinn Ratliff. She graduated from ETSU with a Master’s Degree and was a retired high school teacher from the Wise County school system. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter Norelle (Mark) Giles of Wise, a grandson, Rowen Giles, a sister, Vonda Riley of Wise, three brothers, Johnny (Christine) O’quinn, Troy (Peggy) O’quinn and Steve (Dana) O’quinn all of Haysi and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Haysi Funeral Home with Darrell Thacker officiating.
