Obituary for Eugene Coleman

EUGENE COLEMAN

Vansant, VA- Eugene Coleman, age 64 of JWB Hollow Road, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at his home. Born in Buchanan County, he was a son of the late Lonzie and Goldie Bowman York. He was last employed by Alpha Natural Resources, he was a coal miner.He loved hunting, fishing and four wheeling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Clinton, Kermit and Meade Jane Owens.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra C. Coleman, a daughter, Kimberly Coleman of Roanoke, three brothers, Jessie (Rita) Coleman, Doug (Linda) Coleman and Jerry (Barbara) Coleman all of Vansant, three sisters, Barbara Charles of Bee, Sue (Willard) Charles of Vansant and Karen (Randy) Stiltner of Galax and his granddogs, Kasper and Jake.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 at Ayers Coleman Cemetery, Vansant, VA. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com. Haysi Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
