Wanetta Deel
Clinchco, VA – Wanetta Deel, age 69, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at her residence. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Alta Deel. She was a homemaker and member of Pentecostal Holiness. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends and going to church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ira Con Woods, and three brothers, Leon Deel, Troy Deel, and Armis Deel.
Survivors include her best friend and companion, Timmy Slone, two daughters, Denna Deel of Clinchco and Michelle (Bryant) Bishop of Clinchco, six grandchildren, Jessica Deel, Ashley Edwards, Wendy Grizzle, Zachary Bishop, Andrea Woods, and Allison Woods, four great-grandchildren, Makenzie Fuller, Conner Grizzle, Ava Grizzle, and Christian Edwards, three sisters, Venus Church, Dinah Sauer, and Evelene Bentley, and four brothers, Venerable Deel, Fred A. Deel, Jeffrey Deel, and Richie Deel.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Clinchco Pentecostal Church with Darrell Milgrim and Norman Cumbo officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, VA. Pallbearers will be Bryant and Zachary Bishop, Matthew Blansett, and Josh Grizzle. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday at the church where a service will be held at 7:00 p.m. both nights. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
