Connie Kathleen Stanley, age 56 of Haysi, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at Dickenson Community Hospital in Clintwood, VA. Born in Dickenson County, she was the daughter of the late Buster and Flora Yates Hess. She was a homemaker and of the Freewill Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Franklin Hess.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Joseph Stanley, a brother, Benny Glenn Hess of Clintwood, and two sisters, Sandra Jean Sutherland of Haysi and Joan Lester of Pikeville, KY.
