Lee Trinkle Deel
Angola, IN – Lee Trinkle Deel, age 90, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Cameron Memorial Hospital in Angola. Born in Dickenson County, he was a son of the late Jessie Lee and Minnie Belle Yates Deel. He was retired from Ford Motor Company and attended the Primitive Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Delphine Deel, second wife, Emogene Deel, three brothers, Claude, Earl and Burns Deel, and sisters, Vergie Compton, Bertha Yates, Martha Yates, Lacey O’quinn, and Roxie Branham.
Survivors include a son, Grant (Mary) Deel of Angola, IN, daughters, Novella Crawford of Allenton, MI and Darlene Lamb of Clinton Township, MI, a step-daughter, Vickie Fuller of Haysi, a step-son, Denny Deel of Haysi, 8 grandchildren, Kenny Crawford, Ryan Deel, Natalie McCoy, Destiny Bacon, Tianna Lamb, Dustin Fuller, Andre Deel, and Natasha Yates, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2016 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elder Jim O’quinn officiating. Burial will follow in the Viers Cemetery, Clinchco, VA. Pallbearers will be Dustin Fuller, Andre Deel, Logan Deel, Tammy Fain, Ronald Compton, and Michael Yates. Denny Deel will serve as an honorary pallbearer. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 21 at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
