Haysi, VA- Ronnie Dean Deel, age 56, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, VA. Born in Tazewell County, he was a son of Jerry and Sharon Deel. He was a 1978 Haysi High School graduate. He retired from Red Onion Prison and worked 15 years for Clinchfield Coal Company and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Deel, maternal grandparents, Shannon and Louisa Deel and paternal grandparents, Howard and Ida Deel.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a daughter, Natasha (Kenny) Kiser, two brothers, Jimmy Deel and Kenny Deel, three grandchildren, Treyton, Talen and Kambree Kiser, two nephews, Allen Deel and Austin Counts and a special friend, Gary Elswick.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Haysi Funeral Home with David Cummings officiating. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday in A.F. Deel Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Procession will leave the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Kenny Kiser, Treyton Kiser, John Deel, Michael Deel, Allen Deel, Terry Bartley, John Whitt, Gary Elswick and Bob Kiser.
