Bee, VA- Edsel Lambert, age 76, of Indian Creek Road,passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at his home. Born in Buchanan County, he was a son of the late Otis and Thora Lambert. He was a retired coal miner, an avid hunter and a member of Trinity Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Morgan Lambert.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Lovonne Lambert, five daughters, Carol Nuckles, Kim Pauley, Ivy Marney, Marshanna Looney and Bridgett Johnson, a son, Robbie Deel, 11 grandchildren, Blake Musick, Remona Parks, Ryan Johnson, Tara Deel, Maggie Deel, Bricen Lambert, Brayden Looney, Levi Marney, Isaiah Marney, Isaac Marney and Kallisse Looney a sister, Laura Rasnake of Cleveland and a brother, George Lambert of Bristol.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Haysi Funeral Home with Roy Lee Wilson and James Moore officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Lambert-Sullivan Cemetery, Bee, VA. Pallbearers will be Gary Jackson, Scotty and Danny Hackney, Buckey Looney, Daniel Marney, Doug and Ryan Johnson and Robbie Deel.
