Obituary for Kathy Marlene Chambers

Kathy Marlene  Chambers
Haysi, VA – Kathy Marlene Chambers, age 43 of Bartley Street passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Dickenson Community Hospital, Clintwood, VA. Born in Kentucky, she was a daughter of Vanita Stanley and the late Kenneth Stanley. She was last employed as a bus driver for Four County Transit and a member of Bartlick Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Clement and Martha Stanley and maternal grandparents, Johnny and Leona Mullins.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Joann (Steven) Shelton and Jon Chambers both of Haysi, VA; a sister, Pam (Darnell) Wallace of Haysi, VA; brothers, Anthony (Deleah Ratliff) Stanley of Ligonier, IN, Matt (Kelly) Stanley of Kendallville, IN, a grandbaby on the way, Kathleen Joella Shelton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Bartlick Freewill Baptist Church with James Swiney, Junior Deel and Denver Kelly officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Stanley Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to service.
