RODNEY LEE DEEL
Haysi, VA- Rodney Lee Deel, age 60 of Greenbrier Road, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 at his home. Born in Buchanan County, he was a son of the late Emory and Cynthia Deel. He was a disabled miner and a member of Russell Prater Old Regular Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clayton Deel and a nephew, Randy Deel.
Survivors include four sisters, Joyce (the late Jerry) Yates, Juanita (Harold) Conaway, Pinkie (Billy) Yates and Ester Lynn (Bobby) Yates all of Haysi, three brothers, Landon Deel and Kenny Deel both of Haysi and Osborne (Margaret) Deel of Lebanon, two daughters, Cara and Alea, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at Russell Prater Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders Roger Coleman, Earl Dean Yates, Andy Deel and Ricky Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Deel Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Pallbearers will be Tony and Tyler Yates, Wesley and Eddie Conaway, Jeffrey, Jacob, Junior, Linton, Lucas and Conner Deel.
