RONNIE GENE DEEL
Sugar Grove, VA- Ronnie Gene Deel, age 57 of Hale Lake, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at his home. Born in Tazewell County, he was a son of Dixie Fuller Deel and the late Carl Deel. He was a 1977 Grundy High School graduate, a heavy equipment operator with Motivation Coal and a member of Carmi Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Cindy Deel, two daughters, Candi Rae (Travis) Blankenship of Oakwood and Summer Hope Deel of Haysi, a grandson, Elden Ray Blankenship, a sister, Yvonne (Roy) Edwards of Haysi, 2 nephews, Christopher Wade Edwards and Austin Lee Edwards, a great-nephew, Christopher Kyle Edwards and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders Roger Coleman, Mark Justice and Toy Looney officiating. Burial will follow in John Fuller Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Pallbearers will be Austin Edwards, Chris Edwards, David White, Johnny Amos, Johnny Fuller and Rocky Blankenship.
