SHIRLEY TEMPLE WOOD
Haysi, VA- Shirley Temple Wood, age 78 of Big Ridge Road, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Born in Dickenson County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Orpha Lee Dutton Mullins. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Noah Mullins.
Survivors include two brothers, Jim and Hansel Mullins both of Haysi, three sisters, Edith Mullins of home and Lexie Fleming and Edith Wooten both of Clinchco, several nieces and nephews and several great- nieces and nephews. She was loved by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elder Noah Kim Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Branham-Mullins Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
