David Eugene Deel

Haysi, VA – David Eugene Deel, age 60, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at his residence. Born in Buchanan County, he was a son of the late Charlie and Ada Tussey Deel. He was a United States Army Veteran and was last employed as a factory worker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Deel and Charles Deel, and a nephew, Gary Zane Edwards.
Survivors include two daughters, Heather (Jeremy) Mason of Ocala, FL and Emalee (Donald) Titchenell of WV, brothers, Melvin (Annette) Deel of Haysi, Larry Michael (Roberta) Deel of Tunnel Hill, GA, Gary Lewis Deel of Haysi, sisters, Jospehine (Norman) Boyd of Vansant, VA and Sue (Ural) Owens of Haysi, four grandchildren, Kaleb, Gabriella, Robert, and Leeann.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 at Haysi Funeral Home with Darrell Thacker officiating. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com. Haysi Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
