Wanda Lou McClanahan

Grundy, VA – Wanda Lou McClanahan, age 71, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at her residence. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Bertha Boyd. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her biological mother, Dora Boyd Cesarini.
Survivors include her husband, James “Buck” McClanahan, Jr., two sons, Jimmy (Tena) McClanahan of Grundy and Rick (Karen) McClanahan of Big Rock, VA, two daughters, Jamia (Brian) Gibson of Grundy and Krissy (Benjie) Charles of Hurley, VA, and grandchildren, Shayna McClanahan, Corey McClanahan, Garrett Matney, Emma McClanahan, Rylea Charles, and Colby McClanahan.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2015 at Haysi Funeral Home with Shae Shrader officiating. Entombment will follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock.
