Haysi, VA- Bonnie Blanch Cash, age 81, of Splashdam Road, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Mountain View Nursing Home in Elkhorn City, KY. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Garland and Gracie Raines Deel. She was a homemaker and member of Southern Baptist Church in Waco, TX. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Huby, six brothers, Charlie Paul, Phillip, Aaron Lee, Emory, Woodrow and twin Bobby, three sisters, Faye, Rosemary and Zella Gladys.
Survivors include her son, Garland Lee (Shirley) Deel of Fort Myers, FL, three grandchildren, Vanessa Lee Deel, Daniel Lee Deel and Odessa Deel all of Alaska, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, a sister, Melba Deel of Breaks, a brother, Swanson Deel of Clintwood, a special niece, Gracie Cleek Nash of Haysi, a special nephew, Haskel Cleek of Breaks and several more nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders Eddie Newsome, Donny Yates, Jerry Newsome and David O’quinn officiating. Burial will follow in Garland and Gracie Deel Memorial Cemetery, Breaks, VA.
