Obituary for Rickie Norman Campbell

RICKIE NORMAN CAMPBELL
Big Stone Gap, VA- Rickie Norman Campbell, age 53 of Canonchet Ave. passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at his home. Born in Michigan, he was a son of Don Campbell and the late Verna Barton Campbell. He was employed as Information Technical Director at Mountain Empire Community College and was a member of Andover United Methodist and Experimental Aircraft Association. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Campbell King.
In addition to his father, survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Campbell, a daughter, Emily Campbell of the home, an uncle, Gary Turner of Big Stone Gap, two aunts, Verba Fleming of Clintwood and Ruby Whitten of FL, Brothers and sisters-in-laws, Ed (Jane) Carlton, Pat (Bob) Coughlin all of Big Stone Gap, Lee (Teresa) Barnes and Cathy Gills of GA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Haysi Funeral Home with Carl Rogers and Sam and Charlotte Green. Burial will follow in Morgan T. Turner Cemetery, Clinchco, VA.
