Delphia Louisa B. Mullins
Birchleaf, VA – Delphia Louisa B. Mullins, age 77, passed away Sunday, June 08, 2014 at Dickenson Community Hospital in Clintwood. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Nickey and Margie Coleman Blankenship. She was a homemaker and member of Emanuel Old Regular Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by sisters, Patsy Hancock, Birchie Deel, Emogene Deel, and Mary Stiltner, and brothers, Wilburn Blankenship and Willard B. Blankenship.
Survivors include her husband, Johnnie Mullins, a daughter, Donita (Joseph) Orr of Willis, VA, two sons, Jonathan Nickey Mullins of Dublin, VA and Christopher King Mullins of Christiansburg, VA, grandchildren, Heather Dawn Mullins, Kayla Lynn Orr, Magnolia Mae Manchester, Maezy Cordelia Manchester, Nicholas Brett Mullins, Aaron Edward Orr, and Marshall Christopher Mullins, three great-grandchildren, Isaac, Zachary, and Caleb, a sister, Sarah (Roby) Deel of Haysi, and two brothers, Freddie Blankenship and Alvin (Katie) Blankenship both of Haysi.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders Eddie Newsome, David O’quinn, and Buster Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Colley Cemetery, Breaks, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9 at the funeral home where an evening service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
